Some Hallmark movies I just put on, and they played and I didn't pay them much attention as I did other things. In the past, I generally didn't even bother with mentioning them or doing a write-up with these, but I feel like I'm doing everyone a disservice if I do that to you good people here.
This movie was about two sisters who go to Ireland, lie about who they are, and pose as event coordinators-to-the-stars to get a job coordinating a Christmas banquet at an Irish castle.
It co-stars a guy who was in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I have only seen enough of to say "no, thank you". He plays some sort of Irish royalty, which I did not know was a thing after 1916 or so. But I guess someone owns castles, and folks in Europe and associated islands do love a good title.
Mostly this is a lot of build up to what looks like a very bad party. And then Lacey Chabert having to admit she's a waitress and not an event planner, but... she did plan this event, so - who's the fool now?

This movie was for people just a bit younger than myself. The lead is an attorney with a good job who gets a much-valued promotion after well over a decade of work with a firm. But because she's a workaholic, she celebrates by herself after working through the office holiday party.
She transports through time, thanks to a magical cab driver, to 1999, when she's in high school and after her father died. And she realizes she maybe should have fallen in love with the boy next-door and had a different legal career.
They cast a woman who is probably half-way between the two ages she's playing of 42 or so, and 17 or 18. And that's a tough sell. They use the magic of bangs to try to relay the age difference.
Mostly notable as Hallmark doing something different, the movie also sees a return of magic in a Hallmark movie.
(Spoilers) The movie also does the thing where the lead changes their entire life and has kids and a different life, and it's not made clear that the lead remembers what happened, actually lived those years, or if she remembers one version of events, both, etc... I need answers.

This was about a would-be astronaut who has developed a vision issue and now will not be sent to space. While she figures out what to do next, she crashes with her parents, and finds work helping set up an exhibit at a planetarium.
She falls for the guy setting up exhibits, and her brother finds love with the girl running the gift shop.
It's... fine. I really wasn't watching this one. But the lead played a character on The Flash TV show and on Smallville, so I was curious to see what she's up to.
