This isn't a comprehensive list of what I watched in 2019. Like the movies list, it doesn't include all the partially watched Hallmark movies. It also doesn't include local and global news (some of us still watch the news). It doesn't include Seinfeld and The Nanny reruns. Nor shows I watched part of and gave up on. I may have even missed entire series in here. I don't really track TV watching or I'd probably have to have a moment of self-reflection. It doesn't include the hours and hours and hours of baseball, soccer, volleyball, and football I'll watch in a given year (with hundreds of hours of baseball to account for as I probably watched 60-70 games last year. Go Cubs!).
But when I sat down to think about what I'd watched, this was what came to mind:
It's weird - I never used to watch this much TV, but you do get into easy habits, I guess. And I'm not watching reruns of Hogan Knows Best, so that's something, I suppose.
I don't have a list of "worst TV". If a show is paining me, I do not watch it anymore.
Pretty clearly I gravitate toward watching TV for a laugh, and mostly a quick one at that. But I do have my longer shows I will watch. And I don't have documentary shows listed here, but you could certainly include chunks of The American Experience, which I still watch a good deal of - but which is really an umbrella for a lot of different documentaries.
But, yeah, Queer Eye is about all I can tolerate for reality TV these days.
And, yes, of course you have many, may shows to recommend to me. I even have a place where you can submit those shows! I totally check this regularly and add these shows and movies to my queue immediately!
Nor will I post anything about a best show. I mean... I could, but I just don't have the energy.
