Y'all have already seen this one, so no lengthy post here. But that was a really fun movie, and maybe the best intro to the full range of Bat-dorkiness from DC Comics, the movies, the TV shows...
That was just a blast.
And, now I need a lot of white and crystal Lego, because I really want to build a Lego Fortress of Solitude.
@Ryan ug, I feel like the curmudgeon here but I liked it, not loved it. I really feel like I went into it with too high expectations and should have been laughing my ass off more and tearing up at the end like in The Lego Movie. Don't get me wrong, I feel like it was a good movie just not a great movie.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. I can see what you mean there. For the record - I liked the Lego Movie some percentage more, as well. And I do wish the frenetic pacing had slowed a bit to let some of the movie seep in. And, yes, the biggest laugh the movie got out of us was Batman, in mask, at the microwave, which was pretty early.
ReplyDeleteBut, yeah, no harm no foul there. It wasn't at quite that level.
@Ryan when Batman says he never skips leg day I did lose it though.
