For Pete's sake (and mine) please check out either Disqus or Intense Debate for your comments. Blogger's commenting system is by far the worst I've seen. And you don't have to use it.

Nah. I'd prefer to keep it all wrapped up in the blogger package. I was with Haloscan before, and all it meant was that I had something else to maintain.
